World's three most popular flagships.

With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9+ at Mobile World Congress 2018 the flagship war went on to another level. So, I decided to bring a detailed comparison review of world’s 3 most amazing and loved smartphones Apple’s iPhone X, Google Pixel XL and Samsung Galaxy S9+. All three phones have some quality which makes them special, for example iPhone’s look, Pixels camera and Galaxy S9+ capability to change aperture. Smartphone market is the only market which change every second. Every second a new technology is introduced and some old is left behind that is why every smartphone maker is working hard to coupe up with this change going on.

So, in today’s article I will be comparing these three phones on each and every aspect and will tell you which the best phone for you is. I will be dividing this article in three categories and those categories are Looks, Camera and Features. So, without wasting any time “Let’s talk about tech”.
1.   Looks
Apple made a huge gamble with iPhone X by dropping its home button and according to me this gamble really paid off. iPhone X comes with a 5.8-inch bezel less display (82.9% screen to body ratio) with a pixel density of - 458 ppi, a notch at the top and a glass back which gives this phone a really premium look. Since the launch of first iPhone in 2007 Apple was trying to do something new and finally did it with iPhone X. Now talking of Samsung Galaxy S9+ it comes with a 6.2-inch infinity display (84.2% screen to body ratio) with a pixel density of 529 ppi with no upgrades in looks which are nearly same as its previous brother whereas when we talk of Google Pixel XL its really amazing to see that it is the only phone which comes with half glass and half fiber type finish on aluminium back and gives this phone a really premium look. Pixel XL comes with a 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio screen with a pixel density of 538 ppi but when you see from certain angles you find that the screen looks blue and this is the reason why Pixel 2 XL faced a lot of criticism just after its launch.
iPhone X look awesomely amazing due to it fully bezel less display
Verdict- All three phones gives a premium feel in hand but only one can be the winner and according to me iPhone X is the winner here because of its awesomely amazing bezel less display and a glass back. Galaxy S9+ lost it because though being a 2018 phone it has same looks like Galaxy S8 which make me suspicious about Samsung’s creativity whereas Pixel XL lost it due to its 18:9 aspect ratio screen which has no value in modern world of shrinking bezels.

2.       Camera
iPhone X comes with a dual 12 MP (f/1.8) + 12 MP (f/2.4), OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), phase detection auto-focus, 2x optical zoom and a quad LED dual-tone flash primary camera setup a secondary camera of  7 MP (f/2.2) with face detection and HDR whereas Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a dual 12 MP(f/1.5-2.4) + 12 MP(f/2.4) (It can change its aperture from 1.5 from 2.4) with OIS, phase detection auto-focus, 2x optical zoom, LED flash primary camera setup.
I want to highlight again that Galaxy S9+ camera has variable aperture feature which means you can adjust your aperture according to lighting conditions. Now coming to our third phone i.e. Google Pixel 2 XL it has a single 12.2 MP (f/1.8), dual pixel PDAF, OIS, phase detection, laser auto-focus, LED flash primary camera setup and has a secondary camera of 8 MP with an aperture of f/2.4 and is supported by Google AI system to process the image.
Pixel 2 XL is having best camera among all flagships.
Verdict- According to me here in the camera department there are only two contendenders i.e. the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Google Pixel XL as iPhone X camera stands nowhere in front of these phone in simple words iPhone X camera is rubbish and according to me is only comparable with older iPhone's. Samsung Galaxy S9+ daylight images are over saturated but the phone really did great in low lighting condition due to its variable aperture feature whereas Pixel 2 XL being a 1-year old phone is still able to beat this new tech as Pixel 2 images are not over saturated and despite being a single camera phone it produces best images and Google split pixel technology is actually put a cherry on top as this is the technology which helps Pixel to take portrait shots with just one camera. So clearly Google Pixel 2 XL is the winner here according to me.

3. Features
Both iPhone X and Galaxy S9+ comes with an IP68 certification whereas Pixel 2 XL comes with an IP67 certification. Apples iPhone X has no fingerprint scanner but it has FaceID which means you can unlock your phone by just looking at it but it has drawback you can have only FaceID registered at a time means if your spouse is using
your phone they will have to unlock it with pin. Coming to Samsung Galaxy S9+ it has a fingerprint sensor as well as iris detection but when it comes to Pixel 2 XL you can unlock it with face detection, fingerprint as well as voice.
All the three phones come with their own voice assistant like iPhone with Siri, Pixel with Google assistant, Galaxy S9+ with Bixby though you being an android phone it comes with Google assistant too. iPhone X comes with Apples new A11 bionoic chip whereas Galaxy S9+ is powered by Snapdragon exynos 9810 CPU and Pixel with Snapdragon 835 processor.
Talking of battery life iPhones are known for their non-usable battery (because as soon as you as you start using them it shows low battery if compared with an android phone or even a bar phone they also run longer than iPhone’s) iPhone X has a 2716mAh li-ion non-removable battery which stands nowhere in front of Galaxy S9+ 3500mAh and Pixel 2XL’s 3250mAh battery.
Verdict- This is the field which solely depends on your choice whether you want to go with iOS or Android.
Personal Review
For me Google Pixel 2 XL is the perfect flagship phone as it the cheapest among three of them and comes only at a price of around 52k on Flipkart and Amazon. According to me it is the best phone though a bit old now as in this fast changing world of tech a smartphone launched yesterday is also not new then how can we call a year old phone new but it still a deal breaker for android lovers and a great option for those personals who are willing to switch from iOS to Android.
