Sorry guys that I am posting so late. First of all a deep silence for the actress of yesteryear a diva,a role model, a great inspiration and a true admirer of art. Yes guys this comes from the bottom of heart that such a jewel miss Sridevi boney Kapoor has left this world and left for the heavenly abode. To mourn the loss of the Kapoor family and the whole Bollywood industry today this article is published in black and white format. So let’s start today’s great tech news and this time the news has come from one of the world’s biggest chipset manufacturer MediaTek. MediaTek has always been criticised for making chipsets that are not worthy. But this time the company has struck gold.

For those of you who don’t know MediaTek Inc. is a Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company that provides system-on-chip products for wireless communications, HDTV, DVD and Blu-ray.

Last year, two new MediaTek SoC’s which were to be announced in Mobile World Congress(MWC) 2018 surfaced online. These two chipsets were Helio P40 and Helio P70. Helio P40 was expected to power upper mid ranged smartphones whereas P70 was expected to power flagships only.

However, today MediaTek P60 was spotted at Geekbench in a test device which leaves us with the hint that MediaTek will be unveiling it at MWC 2018. According to me MediaTek played a good game by keeping P60 a secret.

The test device on which P60 was tested is benchmarked as MTK P60 MWC Demo. It has 4Gb RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. P60 is an octa-core chip clocked at a speed of 1.99 GHz and records some really-really impressive scores.

Helio P60 scored 1524 points for the single-core test and for the multi-core test, it scored 5871 points. These scores were found similar to those with Snapdragon 660 which is an upper midrange smartphone chipset and powers phone like VIVO X20 Plus, OPPO R11s Plus, XIAOMI Mi NOTE 3, Samsung Galaxy C10 Plus.

Well according to me this will change Mediateck’s game plan forever. This powerful and efficient chipset will challenge the market and turn in around for good. Still it is challenge for the company to launch it and strategically place it into the market for a boost. However let’s wait and watch this beast which is hiding in the wild and preparing for an attack on its prey. Thank you everyone for taking out time and reading my piece of work.
