Leaks suggest that upcoming
Xiaomi Mi 7 which is assumed to get unveiled in March 2018 will be following
the footsteps of Apple’s iPhone X. After Apple’s shift to Face ID, this
technology is expected to be the talk of the town in the upcoming year.
Tech Geeks are assuming that Mi 7 will the first from Xiaomi
to ditch fingerprint sensor and will support facial recognition. The phone is
expected to support 3D face sensing technology, some experts are also assuming
that the phone will come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. OnePlus this week
also suggested that their upcoming midrange flagship OnePlus 6 will have an on-screen
fingerprint sensor and will be launched in March at MWC 2018.
Reports from MyDrivers suggests that most probably Xiaomi
will ditch any kind off fingerprint in their phone and will go for facial
recognition feature only. But we can not predict anything until some clear
pictures comes to news. But it is certain that this device will be competing
with OnePlus 6 and also with Vivo and Huawei’s upcoming same type of phones.
Upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to have a 6-inch bezel-less
18:9 OLED display with a rear dual camera setup and will be powered by Snapdragons
845 chipset, if this happens Mi 7 will be a significant upgrade from Xiaomi Mi 6
which was having a 5.15-inch LCD display.
We all also know that unlike any other mobile brand Xiaomi
is known for its aggressive pricing and especially in Indian market, we noticed
how Xiaomi launched new generation phones back to back and at such a low price
and all those phones proved to do pretty good according to their price. With
launch of Xiaomi 5A on price of 5k Xiaomi captured the whole Indian market and
who knows if Xiaomi plays well with the pricing of Xiaomi Mi 7, it can be a
game changer too.
