HMD Global which is Nokia’s parent company now is deciding to launch Nokia 7 their mid-range smartphone for rest of the world this year as the device was already launched in China in October earlier this year. At the launch event of Nokia 2 this year HMD officials confirmed that Nokia 7 will remain confined to china for some time. But will be available for rest of the world soon. They launched Nokia 6 in the same way too Nokia 6 was launched in China in January 2017 but made its debut for global world in MWC 2017. Hopefully same can happen this year too.
Nokia 7 is expected to have decent hardware and software as it’s the company’s first phone with glass body and also will be a mid-ranger means its price can be somewhere in between 22k -26k which is petty aggressive pricing for such a device it will compete with MOTO X4, VIVO V5 AND V5+ and OPPO also.
Nokia 7 early 2018 launch is reported by Android Headlines which also stated that Model number TA-1041 will be Nokia 7 international variant. Nokia 7 will have a full metal body with a shiny glass back with Nokia’s legendary trademark embedded in it and unlike other previously launched Nokia phones Nokia 7 will have a finger print sensor on it back this is also the first time for any Nokia phone. It will be running on a snapdragon 630 chipset which is pretty decent and common for such price bracket. Snapdragon 630 is a newly launched processor by snapdragon and comes in very less mobile phones and is also the first from Nokia to have a snapdragon 600 series processor.
Nokia 7 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with two RAM variants one with 4Gb RAM- 32Gb ROM and other with 6Gb RAM-64GB ROM which can be extended further using microSD card. It is also having a 16MP back camera with dual tone LED Flash powered by Carl Zesis optics and is having a front camera of 5 MP which can record both audio and videos. Global variant of Nokia 7 will run stock version of Android Oreo out of the box and all this hardware is backed up by a 3000mAh battery which we can assume will last for one and a half day on standby as snapdragon 630 consumes less power
.
1.5 million Nokia 7 have been pre booked in China before its actual sales this gives us an idea that Nokia is back with all its might and its fan base has not fallen even after so many years and despite of all odds
